A Note From Your Guide

Dear Fellow Parent,

Erica, Leo and Scarlett

Dear Fellow Parent,

I am a mother of two and that is my greatest joy in life. My son, Leo, has profound autism and complex medical needs. Our family's journey led me through biomedical interventions, specialists across the country, educational advocacy, service navigation, and ultimately into building programs and communities that support neurodiverse individuals and their families.

I founded Hope Grows for Autism, served as a TACA Parent Mentor, worked as a Family Navigator at The Autism Treatment Center, co-invented a patented biopharmaceutical formulation targeting autism symptom clusters, and helped launch GET Café, a nonprofit employing neurodiverse adults where I remain involved as a Board member. I am the author of Cooking with Leo- An Allergen-Free Autism Family Cookbook and I currently serve on the Montgomery County Developmental Disabilities Council and continue advocating for systems-level change.

Today, I am navigating one of the most important transitions of all—helping my son move from school into adulthood while securing meaningful opportunities, community participation, and long-term supports. The lessons learned along the way now help guide other families facing similar challenges.

My Approach

This work is rooted in lived experience, practical problem-solving, and the belief that every family deserves clear information, compassionate support, and hope grounded in action.

I look forward to walking this road alongside you.

Sincerely,

Erica Daniels
